Neuro-Restore™

Conditions We Treat

Peripheral neuropathy isn't one condition — it's a symptom pattern with several possible causes.

"Neuropathy" describes what's happening — nerve damage producing numbness, tingling, burning, or pain, usually starting in the feet. It doesn't, by itself, explain why. The underlying cause matters, because it shapes what a complete evaluation should look for and how your program is calibrated to your specific presentation.

The Tetra-Therapy method addresses the same four physiological goals — circulation, sensation, nerve communication, and structure — regardless of what's driving your neuropathy. But the starting point, the pace of progress, and what we watch for on your thermography can differ meaningfully depending on the underlying cause. Below are the three most common categories of peripheral neuropathy we see at Campbell Chiropractic.

Diabetic Neuropathy

The most common cause of peripheral neuropathy, driven by prolonged effects of blood sugar on peripheral nerves and the small blood vessels that supply them. Often starts as numbness or tingling in the feet and progresses gradually.

Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathy

A side effect of certain chemotherapy drugs, often appearing in a symmetric "stocking and glove" pattern in the hands and feet. Can persist well after treatment ends, and often responds differently than diabetic neuropathy.

Idiopathic Neuropathy

Neuropathy with no clearly identified cause, even after standard testing. More common than many patients realize, and often the most frustrating to live with because there's no obvious explanation to point to.

Not Sure Which One Describes You?

That's exactly what your initial evaluation is for. Health history review, thermography imaging, and a complete musculoskeletal and neurological assessment give Dr. Campbell a clear picture of what's driving your specific symptoms — no guessing required. Learn about your evaluation →

Why the Cause Matters

Two patients can have nearly identical symptoms — burning feet, numbness, poor balance — and be dealing with entirely different underlying processes. Diabetic neuropathy involves ongoing metabolic and circulatory factors that need to be monitored alongside your endocrinologist or primary care physician. Chemotherapy-induced neuropathy often involves a different pattern of nerve fiber damage tied to specific treatment drugs. Idiopathic neuropathy, by definition, means standard testing hasn't identified a clear cause, which changes what a reasonable treatment timeline and set of expectations should look like.

This is part of why the Neuro-Restore™ Program starts with a real evaluation rather than a one-size-fits-all package. The Tetra-Therapy method addresses all four physiological goals in every case, but Dr. Campbell calibrates emphasis, pacing, and what we watch for on thermography based on what's actually driving your neuropathy.

A note on regenerative treatments: peripheral neuropathy is a progressive condition, and its underlying causes — whether metabolic, chemotherapy-related, or unidentified — are not reversed by any single therapy. The Neuro-Restore™ Program is designed to support nerve function and manage symptoms, not to cure the underlying condition. See our Medical Disclaimer for more information.
