Tetra-Therapy — Goal 4: Restore Movement & Structure
The goal most neuropathy programs skip entirely — and where a chiropractic background gives patients an advantage.
Most neuropathy treatment focuses entirely on the feet and legs, where symptoms show up. Structural care starts somewhere else: the lower spine, where the nerves that reach your feet actually originate. Nerve roots exiting the spine, particularly around L4-S3, can become compressed due to spinal misalignment — and when that happens, it can contribute to or worsen the exact symptoms patients associate with neuropathy in their feet and legs.
This is the part of the Tetra-Therapy method most other neuropathy programs don't address at all, simply because most aren't run by a chiropractic physician. Dr. Campbell's 47 years of chiropractic practice means spinal structure is evaluated as a matter of course, not as an afterthought — because it's difficult for circulation and nerve signal work to fully take hold if there's ongoing structural compression working against them.
Structural evaluation begins at your very first visit, as part of the complete musculoskeletal assessment alongside thermography and neurological testing. In-office treatment includes:
Chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Campbell uses a combination of techniques — including Gonstead, Diversified, and Activator methods — matched to your specific presentation, to address lumbar subluxations that may be contributing to nerve root compression.
Structural whole-body vibration. A structural application of vibration therapy, distinct from the circulation-focused use in Goal 1, aimed at supporting proprioceptive re-education and reducing paraspinal muscle tension.
In the full 90-day program, structural work is a dedicated focus at Visit 3, and continues to be assessed and adjusted throughout your twelve visits as your presentation evolves. Unlike the other three goals, structural care doesn't have a corresponding daily home device — it's addressed in-office, where Dr. Campbell can properly evaluate and adjust spinal alignment.

Chiropractic adjustment is a well-established, conservative approach used broadly in musculoskeletal care. Dr. Campbell selects the specific technique and intensity based on your individual evaluation findings, health history, and comfort. As with any hands-on treatment, he'll walk you through what to expect before your first adjustment.
Why does my spine matter if my symptoms are in my feet?
The nerves that reach your feet originate in your lower spine. If those nerve roots are compressed at the source, symptoms downstream in your feet and legs can be affected — which is why we evaluate spinal structure as part of a complete neuropathy assessment, not just the feet themselves.
Is this the same as a typical chiropractic visit?
The adjustment techniques are standard chiropractic care, but the context is different — structural work here is one of four coordinated goals in a broader neuropathy protocol, integrated with your thermography data and the other three therapies you're receiving, rather than a standalone visit.

I have diabetic neuropathy, not a back problem. Does this still apply to me?
Structural nerve root compression and diabetic neuropathy are different underlying causes, but they can coexist and compound one another. Dr. Campbell's evaluation is designed to identify whether a structural component is contributing to your symptoms regardless of the primary cause.
